When mentioning the concept of the “Innovation Studio”, one of the first questions is almost always “so what exactly is an innovation studio”? And what exactly do you do? A lot of people in the entrepreneurial space and startup community would relate this to Accelerator programs that help get businesses started. Ours just expands that a bit further to being a marketplace and big world solutions incubator.

Similarly, the name “Bethesda Designs” can evoke questions about what kind of design exactly do you do - Architectural design, interior design, graphic design, fashion design, and so on. But in my case, “Design” involves a lens through which everything is approached with a design thinking mindset. And I’ve been involved with all of those types of design as well as other types which people don’t typically associate with design - data design, software design, health and wellness design, and so on.

Some ideas just take longer before we can show the world in a more visible way, all we are working on. Just because you don’t see it yet, doesn’t mean it isn’t growing in our incubator.
